Christine is a certified yoga instructor from the Vivekananda Ashram in Bangalore, India. She practices vipassana meditation in the style as taught by SN Goenka and has participated in more than seven 10-day, 100 hour seated silent meditation retreats. And is on the volunteer staff at Dhamma Pakasa, the vipassana center in Pecatonia, IL. She is a certified massage therapist specializing in vibration through her hands, intention and music. Christine has traveled extensively through Europe and Asia, having lived in Asia for 18 months submerged in easter cultures. Her return trips to India give her an opportunity to study the ancient scriptures and sacred texts of the east which deelply influence her practice. Her yoga practice and massage work incorporate her eclectic background of somatic studies. "There are many tools that can help bring balance, understanding and integration of our inner and outer realms such as yoga, massage and meditation." We expand our awareness and invite an ever deepening understanding of ourselves. Through this knowledge we can create a deep sense of joy in all aspects of our lives.
